I've pretty much Xed an MFA off my plans. It would likely be great fun, but not much more than dedication to the craft and a decent writers' group can provide. And hella expensive, as we say in the East Bay.

The ponzi-scheme description is what finally pushed me all the way away. It rang too true to ignore.
